Shapiro’s was a small retail “chain” run by Sam Shapiro and his sons Ernie, Harold, and Charles. The Shapiro stores were in the greater Saratoga, New York area. Ernie Shapiro was the father of Larry Shapiro who is the husband of Marilyn Cohen Shapiro, the daughter of Wilfred (“Bill”) and Frances Cohen and the brother of Jay Cohen.
