New York Pants Manufacturing Company was a pants manufacturer in Baltimore, Maryland. It was owned by Samuel (“Sam”) Osovitz and Nathan (“Nate”) Mendelson. Sam Osovitz was the brother of Ethel Osovitz Cohen who was the mother of Frances Cohen Cohen and the great uncle of Jay Cohen. Nate Mendelson was the son-in-law of Sam Osovitz being married to Sam’s daughter Anne. At one time, Nate worked for Paul Pearl in his Potsdam (NY) store. Nate was the brother of Mary Mendelson Kropsky, who was married to Isadore’s brother Harry Kropsky.
